EMPTY
adjective: containing nothing; not filled or occupied
He said, “Don’t be afraid. I know you’re looking for Jesus the Nazarene, the One they nailed on the cross. He’s been raised up; he’s here no longer. You can see for yourselves that the place is empty." Mark 16:6 MSG
This is the only time in history that death didn't have the last word. The power of Christ is stronger than death. He overcame the only realm where Satan held any power. He defeated Satan. And, the victory extends to all of us.
The empty tomb means that I don't live in fear of condemnation.
Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we’re a free people—free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free! Ephesians 1:7-8 (MSG)
And the best part, the gift of freedom and grace is free, too! All you have to do is believe with your heart and say you believe.
Because if you confess with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and in your heart you have faith that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 Trusting with the heart leads to righteousness, and confessing with the mouth leads to salvation. Romans 10:9-10 (CEB)
The power of Jesus Christ the Lord is stronger than death. Believe, it will change your life.
