ALL THIS

Ephesians 3:14-20 promises ALL THIS—my prayer for all of us today.

WIDE OPEN

We get to stand tall instead of staying small and scared.

We get to run free instead of being confined to the lies that we used to believe.

We get to have real and lasting hope that even the hardest things are not wasted when Jesus is in charge of our lives.

We don’t get shortchanged.

THE LAST WORD

But in a very personal way, as I dug in to the words he wrote and spoke, I began to understand a bit more about how Jesus speaks specifically to me.

BY NAME

Oh how easy it is to get distracted by the numbers. We identify with them much more than we probably should.

SOMETHING GOOD

Jesus doesn’t just sugar-coat our struggles to try to make them more acceptable. He asks us to bring them to him and let him make them matter.

HE RAN

I love that. God comes flying. He runs to us. No matter where we have been, what we have done, how hurtful our choices have been.
